Pipeline Programs

The School of Law offers the following programs throughout the year:

Students will have the opportunity to tour the law school, meet and have lunch with current diverse students.

This is an annual program. Current dates will be announced.

Students will learn trial advocacy skills and the week will culminate with a mock trial competition followed by an awards ceremony and reception with family and friends.

Accessing the Legal Profession (ALP) Law School Application Mini-Camp - College

The Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and the Office of Admissions have partnered to address long-standing educational gaps for those from underrepresented backgrounds who are interested in attending law school. This shared vision has led to the creation of the joint committee, the Accessing the Legal Profession (ALP) Committee. Its focus is to provide law school applicants from traditionally underrepresented populations the tools to overcome barriers they may face on their path to law school.

Scheduled for the first time in 2021, this annual program will be a five-day virtual mini-camp seeking to provide attendees detailed information sessions on every step of the law school application process. These sessions will take place via Zoom, which will allow our sessions to reach more of a national audience.

The sessions will include: Day 1: The Nuts & Bolts of the Law School Application; Day 2: The Law School Resume; Day 3: The Personal Statement; Day 4: The Diversity Statement; Day 5: Financing the Journey.

The 2021 program will take place on June 21 - 25.
