The foundation of our Health Education Action Team (HEAT) is based upon research that shows that peers educating peers is one of the most effective forms of education on different aspects of wellness. Students in this program gain skills in leadership, responsibility, organization, and communication while improving lifestyles for themselves and the students around them.
The HEAT provides classroom presentations, wellness coaching, plans and implements educational and prevention events on campus.
