For pro alumnus Al Hrubetz, waiting nearly 60 years to be publicly recognized for one of the most effectual discoveries of his career – detecting major oil reserves off the coast of Dubai – was well worth the wait.

Virginia "Ginny" Herrmann, M.D. (SOM 74), blazed a trail as one an American female surgeon. Fifty years after she graduated at the top of her class from Saint Louis University School of Medicine, Dr. Herrmann’s legacy will continue to inspire new ways of serving others.

Twinette Johnson, J.D., Ph.D., a former SLU LAW faculty member who earned both her B.A. and Ph.D. degrees at SLU, returns to the University with a distinguished track record of national success and leadership in legal education.

Brett Moorehouse (MHA ‘96) is the senior vice president of membership services for the Missouri Hospital Association — a more than 100 year old not-for-profit member association that represents every acute care hospital in the state.
