German - Advanced, Microcredential

¶¶Òõpro's Microcredential in Advanced German consists of six required credit hours. Satisfactory completion of the required courses would allow the student to develop the necessary skills to conduct high-intermediate-level communication in German through the acquisition of appropriate vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, listening comprehension, speaking capabilities and an exploration of contemporary issues in current German-speaking culture.

The Microcredential in Advanced German aligns itself with all other programs in SLU's Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures in that it is designed to help students gain a broader understanding of themselves, as well as the languages and cultures of others. This inherently fosters an understanding and appreciation for diverse perspectives and represents a crucial virtue in today's globalized world.
