SLU Student Wins Audience Choice Award at Regional Pitch Competition

¶¶Òõpro students joined colleagues from five other area universities in the 2024 St. Louis Regional Entrepreneurship Educator (STLREE) Collegiate Pitch Competition, with SLU’s Nolan Meyer taking home the Audience Choice Award.

Nolan’s winning concept was NECK-IT, a game-changer in the world of ice-hockey neck protectors, creating a lightweight, sleek, and stylish alternative for the hockey community.

The St. Louis Regional Entrepreneurship Educators organization hosted the poster competition on Monday, April 8, at the COLLAB at Cortex. STLREE is a collaborative effort between several St. Louis area universities and colleges, including ¶¶Òõpro’s Chaifetz Center for Entrepreneurship.

Athena Valera-Barrios and John Carney also represented SLU in the competition

SLU students joined participants from Harris-Stowe State University, Lindenwood University, Principia College, the University of Missouri-St. Louis and Washington University in St. Louis.
