The following is a partial list of the programming offered by ¶¶Òõpro School of Law Bar Examination Preparation.

Planning for the Bar Information Session

This session covers applying for admission to the bar, the basic structure of the bar exam, how to prepare for the bar exam (including selecting a commercial bar review provider), planning for bar study, and paying for bar-related costs. 

Alumni of SLU LAW receive complimentary boxed lunches during the Missouri Bar exam.

Early Bird Bar Prep Workshop Series

These workshops provide an introduction to the Uniform Bar Exam (UBE), including a discussion on each of the subsections of the UBE - the Multistate Essay Exam (MEE), the Multistate Performance Test (MPT), and the Multistate Bar Exam (MBE). The workshops also will include extensive advice on strategies for creating the best study environment and engaging in actual bar exam study.

Register for the Next Early Bird Bar Prep Workshop

Preparing for the Missouri and Illinois Bar Exams
The Missouri Board of Law Examiners and Illinois Board of Admissions provide this program for 3Ls and 4Ls with information on admission requirements for the Missouri and Illinois Bars, including application procedures, examination requirements and procedures, and Character and Fitness requirements.

Missouri Law Student Registration
Missouri Board of Law Examiners' Program for 1Ls. This program will provide 1Ls with an overview of the Missouri Law Student Registration process, which allows 1Ls to apply for an early Character and Fitness Determination at a reduced cost.

Nuts and Bolts of the MPRE
This workshop will focus on the nuts and bolts of the MPRE: how to register for it, how to prepare for it, and the scoring requirements of different jurisdictions.

Essay Workshops for Bar Takers

This series of workshops will allow graduates taking the bar exam to practice their MEE and MPT skills in a structured setting and receive feedback on their practice MEEs and MPTs. (Note: This workshop series is not intended to replace a commercial bar preparation course.)

Tuesday, February 13: Mini Mock MEE (All subjects are fair game)
6-8:30 p.m., Zoom

We will begin each week by taking the assigned MPT or MEEs under simulated exam conditions, then break for a 30-minute open office hour discussion, and then wrap up by reviewing the answer to that week's assignment. Participants will submit each week's assignment via email to barprep@slu.edu by midnight the night of the workshop to receive in-depth, individualized feedback on both the content and organization of their answers.
