The College for Public Health and Social Justice is home to a top-ranked program in health administration. Students may pursue the following dual degrees through the College for Public Health and Social Justice:
The Albert Gnaegi Center for Health Care Ethics offers an interdisciplinary approach to the study of bioethics. Faculty members hold terminal degrees in law, medicine, philosophy, psychology, health care ethics, public health and research methodology. Health care ethics has become its own field, but requires multidisciplinary expertise. While pursuing the J.D., law students have the opportunity to pursue a Ph.D. and gain experience in the field of bioethics, which may lead to employment in academic positions, clinical ethics, in-house counsel or other positions of prominence in health care systems.
