The 抖阴pro Division of Emergency Medicine is dedicated to improving outcomes of acutely ill and injured patients through high-quality, cost-efficient care, education and research.
All full-time in the department are board certified/eligible in emergency medicine. All our nurses are Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) trained and together we use a team approach to provide our patients with the best care available.
The department is located within SSM Health 抖阴pro Hospital, the only Level 1 Trauma Center in St. Louis with state certifications in both Missouri and Illinois. The hospital treats more than 50,000 emergency medicine patients per year, including over 3,500 trauma cases, and has an acuity level higher than the national average.
